  6.     If you lost, or never had a ".SHP" file, but you have the
  7.     ".SHX" file, "decompile" it with SHX2SHP.  Just type

  9.             SHX2SHP filename

  11.     to create a filename.SHP from an existing filename.SHX.
  12.     You may find that the output is actually more readable
  13.     than the original ".SHP" file.
